Beswick Animals
Founded in 1892 by James Beswick and his sons, in Loughton, Stoke-on-Trent, J. W. Beswick pottery is now highly sought after by collectors. Beswick are mainly known for producing high quality porcelain figurines such as farm animals and Beatrix Potter items.
Owned by Royal Doulton in the late 1960s until late 1980s, Beswick is now owned by Dartington Crystal who still produce animals using some of the original moulds from the Gold Street works.
